New week same me. \o/

Did not get slapped by the government yet. Love that for me. Which I suppose is understanble, they’ve got more important things than my insubordination.

I feel actually great. Accidentally went to bed late but crashed as soon as my head touched the pillow and woke up very confused to my alarm blaring. My calves are behaving just, thought I’d be a lot more sore given the two hours of interval squats I had to do yesterday followed by two and half hours of standing in the sun. It hurts but in a good way. Kind of want to go and run up and down my stairs a bit today.

Heatwave 2 is once again descending on London. No doubt I will be bitterly complaining about everything in due course. However today is fine. Today feels great, it’s probably because it’s July and the little internal switch in my brain has gone. Permission has been granted to be disgustingly hot and it’s ok to swelter. Or the Austrlian part of me has finally gone. HOT ENOUGH FOR YA to enough people internally and thus it is summer.

Have set up the wind tunnel in the office again, all pointed at me, not expecting anyone else in the office so \o). Shoes and socks off. toes waggling. Feels incredible. Need to do this more. Am trying to figure out how I can mask a small little paddling pool under corporate expenses. Emotional Support Footbath?

I see Ruin being a drama queen. And the blinds are shifting to the side with the movement of the fans. Its normally really still in here, the only thing that moves is me. (and the clock but that’s hidden behind the mountain of shit I have on my desk. I like having the blinds move, makes it a bit less dead in here.

I smell cheese twist and coffee. It works. Trust me.

I taste see above. The Tescos FINALLY sorted out their freezer situ and i’m like 90% sure of what happened. Because guess who did the same thing in Sainsburys. XD. Right so the last heat wave Tesco not only stopped putting out their freshly baked breads but also their freezer cabinets went down. So what I think happened is their gas comp got fucked and the walk in freezer was struggling to maintain temp (below -15c) even with the door shut. Due to how these things work, automated alerts get sounded and whole bunch of absolute omg save our money processes comes in. Ie keep the door shuts and monitor everything. I think they probably evacced the stock into a truck or just kept the freezer on lockdown. But as of last week the parties turned up again and the store front freezer is also being restocked with a few bits. I suspect the customer freezers are also feeling the strain since they aren’t fully stocking them to keep them to temperature as well.

I think nothing actually. Brain has shut the fuck up. I indulged the writing compulsion last night. It was a good idea and in the end I’m glad I got it out. I felt lighter afterwards, even if it was just a bit of a weird meander which probably made no sense what so ever, but it meant something to me. And whilst they’ll never read by the person who should read it. The fact I’ve said it helps. Well wrote it. No I said it. I read it as I was typing it. Totally counts.
