from whom we do not turn,
who is exposed,
whose beauty is unmatched'

I would argue that The Black Book of Brittany is worth holding onto, given that the Nocturnal Branch is pushing for all notions of Inks of Containment to be rendered as res non grata.
I do not agree with this position, especially with Wicke as they are.
Submit only the White book. Send the Red and Black to me. I will do my best to experiment and see if I can produce Nillycant. I know not the recipe for Solomon’s Preparation, but an exhausted recollection of his many writings does leave me with the impression of winter flowers at least. Especially those in Cornwall.

The sound of soft whirring filled the lounge, the curtains were pulled, and the only light came from the projector and the wall it was facing. Corinne watched unblinking as the film played. Birth, mirrors, grain-threshers, animal attacks, crowds at stations in an unrelenting fusillade. The images themselves were unrelated, yet in the transitions and towards the end of the film, there was a single series of images flickering briefly.
A dry rustle as the film ran its course. Tilting her head, Corinne reset the film and slowed down the projection rate. Playing it again, she stepped forward, her brows furrowed.
The repeating image was a view through a grimy window pane, looking at a nearby tower. The detail was poor, but there was an impression of a flickering light around the top of the tallest spire. As the film finishes, smoke plumes from the tower, that was it.
Nothing of note. Corinne looked at the casing on the table. ‘Experiment Beyond Sight’ Ilse Bischoff’s final piece, derided, of course. Nothing of note, unless you recognised the tower as the ‘Crucible Tower’ in Brancrug. Unless you happened to know that Ilse Bischoff never visited Brancrug nor even set foot in Britain before her untimely death.
Corinne turned to regard the projector, her jaw tightening.

not me imagining Corrine knows this because she has Ilse locked in her attic
Bomb shelters didn't exist in 1923. The kitchen cupboard no comment
